Registrar Tribunals

The Registrar Tribunals is appointed by the Judicial Service Commission under Article 161 (3) of the Constitution and is responsible to the Chief Registrar in the performance of the duties of that office. The Registrar oversees the Tribunal Secretariat to ensure it efficiently and effectively supports tribunals in the dispensation of justice by mainstreaming judiciary best practices and programs in tribunals. Currently, ORT oversees 25 tribunals that have transited to the Judiciary by facilitating  corporate  shared services relating to infrastructural, registry,  financial and supply chain related activities to ensure optimal performance by tribunals.
