Nairobi Court Users Committee tours Mathari Hospital

Nairobi County Criminal Court Users Committee (CUC) toured the Mathari Hospital, Nairobi.nnThe Hospital which offers psychiatry and drug rehabilitation services is a major stakeholder of the Criminal Division which refers murder suspects for medical evaluation services at the hospital.nnDuring the visit, the CUC members also donated food stuff and legal reading materials to the institution.nnThe official tour of the institution was led by the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division, Lady Justice Jessie Lesiit. Also present were Lady Justice Stella Mutuku, JSC Commissioner Emily Ominde and Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.nnThe CUC was also represented by members from the National Police Service, Probation, the Law Society of Kenya and the National Council on Administration of Justice (NCAJ) among other stakeholders.nn nn nn
