Paul Ndemo is a public servant, who is passionate about being a change agent and making a difference in the public square by providing hope and leadership in this arena.

He currently serves as the Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, working as the principal assistant to the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, whose main duties include;

  1. Responsibility for the overall administration and management of the Judiciary;
  2. Performing judicial functions vested in the office of the Chief Registrar;
  3. Exercising powers vested in the office of the Chief Registrar by virtue of any law or regulation and give effect to the directions of the Chief Justice;
  4. Acting as the accounting officer of the Judiciary;
  5. Preparing reports and proposals on administrative issues;
  6. Being in charge of support services in the Judiciary and in particular planning, and development, and the organisation of staff;

He previously served as a prosecutor where he excelled in court work and similarly played a critical role in the formulation of policies and structures to support the newly established Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions under the Constitution.

Mr. Ndemo holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi, and a Master of International Studies degree from the same University. He also holds a certificate in strategic and security Studies from the National Defence College, Nairobi. He was admitted to the Bar in 1998.
