NCCJR retreats to plan completion of criminal law reforms

The National Committee on Criminal Justice Reforms (NCCJR) members in a retreat at Naivasha to review work plans, adopt SMR monitoring templates on detention places, identify laws and policies for declassification and plan a way forward towards completion of its mandate.  Among the achievements attained by the Committee so far are: sensitization of stakeholders on mandate and the laws that need to be decriminalized and identification of legal challenges in the process.nnnn nn nn
