Hon. Lady Justice Antonina Kossy Bor

Hon. Lady Justice Kossy Bor holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

 

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2000

She was appointed a Judge of the Environment and Land

Court in 2016 and has served in Milimani and Nanyuki.

 

Previous Experience

• Worked at Hamilton Harrison and Mathews as an associate
• Attorney and investigator, Kenya Anti-Corruption

Commission (which later became the Ethics and Anti-

Corruption Commission)

• Appointed Kenya’s focal point for asset recovery for international cooperation from 2013 to November 2016
• Elected President of the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency

Network for Eastern Africa (ARINEA) from November 2013 to September 2016

 

Other Responsibilities

• Elected President of the Kenya Judges Welfare Association (KJWA) in September 2021.
• Served in the Judiciary Committee that drafted the Judicial Code of Conduct.
• Represents the ELC in the Rules Committee of the Judiciary.
