  • Head of Station at Nyeri, Karatina, Naivasha, Kerugoya, Embu, Malindi and Kisumu Law Courts and Milimani Children’s Court, Nairobi
  • Deputy Registrar, at the High Court and Court of Appeal.
  • Special Magistrate, East and Central Province under the Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Act.

 

Other Responsibilities

 

  • Member, Kenya Women Judges Association, Kenyan Chapter and serves as Regional Representative of Mount Kenya Region.
  • Member, National Council on the Administration of Justice Special Taskforce on Children Matters
  • Served on committees responsible for developing the Registry Manual for subordinate courts and a manual for Heads of Stations.
  • Spearheaded rehabilitation programmes for drug addicts in Malindi
  • Regional Chairlady of Coast Region, Embu Region and Council member of Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association.
  • Worked with alcoholics in rehabilitation institutions
  • Member, Committee of Swedish – Kenya Co-operation on Prison Reforms.
  • Member of Schools’ Board of Governors and committees.
  • Participated in church activities and career guidance in schools

Interests

  • Mentoring young girls
  • Assisting the poor, visiting prisoners with church members to give donations and evangelising
