• Masters in Women’s Law from University of Zimbabwe
• Bachelor of Law from University of Mumbai (Bombay)
• Bachelor of General Law from University of Bombay
• Bachelor of Arts (Sociology Honors) from Punjab University
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1999

 

She has over 22 years experience in the legal profession.

She was appointed as an Environment and Land Court

Judge in 2016 and has served in Nyahururu, Nyeri and Kericho.

• Legal practitioner in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution
• Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecution

• Participated in the formulation of the Bench Book on Environment and Land Matters.
• Headed the Anti-money Laundering Division at ODPP.
• Chaired the Tender Evaluation Committee at ODPP.
• Member of: the Money Laundering Round table; the Taskforce on Bail and Bond; Bail and Bond implementation Committee.
• Member of Audit Committee, the Negotiation, Inspection and Acceptance Committee, Disposal Committee.
• Interviewer for promotion/recruitment of prosecutors and facilitated the induction and trial advocacy course for the newly recruited Prosecution Counsel.
