Hon. Mr. Justice Antony Kimani Kaniaru

Justice Antony Kimani Kaniaru was born in Nyeri County.

 

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Masters in Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University.
• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1990

He has over 32 years experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as Judge of the Environment and Land

Court in 2012 and has served in Kisumu, Busia, Kericho, and Embu.

 

Previous Experience

• Justice Kaniaru started working in the Judiciary in 1990. He was a District Magistrate (II) Professional and rose through the ranks until 2012 when he became a judge.
• As a Magistrate, he served in Kitui, Mwingi, Butere, Tigania, Nkubu, Thika and Murang’a.
