Hon. Mr. Justice Cherono Enock

Hon. Mr. Justice Enock Cherono Chirchir was born in Baringo County.

 

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1993

He has over 29 years experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Court

Judge in 2016 and has served in Garissa, Kerugoya and Bungoma.

 

Previous Experience

• Worked as an associate with Kandie Kimutai & Co. Advocates (1993 – 1995).
• Legal Officer and rose through the ranks to become the Company Secretary with Kenya Times Media Trust (1995 – 1997).
• Established the firm of Cherono & Co. Advocates (1997 – 2004).
• Appointed as a Senior Resident Magistrate and served in Nairobi Supreme Court), Milimani, Webuye and Wajir rising through the ranks to Senior Principal Magistrate.
