Hon. Mr. Justice Eboso Benard Mweresa
Hon. Mr. Justice Bernard Mweresa Eboso was born in Vihiga County.
He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:
- Master of Laws from University of Nairobi
- Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
- Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
- Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1995
He has over 27 years experience in the legal profession.
He was appointed as an Environment and Land Court
Judge in 2016 and has served in Nairobi and Thika.
Previous Experience
- Was a practicing advocate for 22 years. Provided comprehensive legal services to corporate and individual clientele on diverse areas of law including litigation, conveyance, insurance and arbitration.
Other Responsibilities
- Training of magistrates and knowledge-sharing with colleague judges in various aspects of the law.
- Member of Judiciary Loans Committee.
- Member of Judiciary Transport Committee.
- Member of Judiciary Taskforce on Environment and Land Disputes Bench Book.
- Board Chair of Moi Girls High School, Vokoli.
- Non – Executive Director of Sabatia Eye Hospital.
- Authored “Judicialization of Politics under the Constitution of Kenya 2010” among other scholarly works.
