Hon. Mr. Justice Gicheru Maxwell Nduiga

Hon Mr. Justice Maxwell Gicheru holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

 

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates

He has a wealth of experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Court Judge in 2021 and has served in Kajiado

 

Previous Experience

• He joined the Judiciary in 1987 and worked in different magistrate cadres.
• He served in Garissa, Wajir, Mandera, Dadaab Mobile Court, Meru, Maua, Kitui, Mutomo Mobile Court, Kakamega, Machakos, Kisii Kitale, Mombasa and Embu.

 

Other Responsibilities

Served as a member of various Judiciary committees including:

• Process Servers Committee
• Magistrates and Kadhis Court Manual Committee
• Human Resource Policies and Procedures Manual Review Committee
• Active Case Management Steering Committee.
• Mentored young lawyers, magistrates, and Judiciary staff across the country.
