Hon. Mr. Justice Korir Weldon Kipyegon

Justice Weldon Kipyegon Korir was appointed Judge of the Court of Appeal in 2022. Justice Korir, a Certified Public Secretary, holds Master of Business Administration from the Kenya Methodist University, Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi and Diploma from the Kenya School of Law.

He is trained in various fields such as in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Judicial Dialogue on HIV, Human Rights and Law in Eastern and Southern Africa. He attended Professional Development Training Seminar on the Impact of the Constitution on the Criminal Justice System in 2011.

He served as an Assistant Administrator General II before joining the judicial service as a magistrate in 1993. Justice Korir worked as a magistrate until 2011 when he was appointed Judge of the High Court.

He was admitted to the roll of Advocates in 1991.
