Hon. Mr. Justice Samson Odhiambo Okong’o

Hon. Mr. Justice Samson Odhiambo Okong’o, MBS, was the first Presiding Judge of the Environment and Land Court. He served from 2017 to 2022.

 

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Certificate in Environmental Law for Judges from University of Cape Town
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates

 

He has a wealth of experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Judge in

2012 and has worked in Kisii, Nairobi and Kisumu.

• Partner in the law firm of Anjarwalla & Khanna Advocates
