Hon. Mr. Justice Sila Munyao

Hon. Justice Munyao Sila holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

 

• Master of Laws Degree from the University College

London, of the University of London

• Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in International Environmental Law from the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Bar in 1997

 

He was appointed as one of the pioneer Judges of the Environment and Land Court in 2012 and has served in Eldoret, Nakuru, Mombasa and Kisii.

 

Previous Experience

• Practiced law and taught at Moi University School of Law.
• His research areas are in land law, environmental law, and Criminal Procedure Law.
• He has authored various conference papers, and the book Modern Law of Criminal Procedure in Kenya.
