Hon. Mr. Justice Wabwoto Karoph Edward

Hon. Mr. Justice Edward Karoph Wabwoto was born in Kakamega County.

 

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws from Moi University
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2007
• Certificate in Legislative drafting from the Kenya School of Law

He has over 15 years experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Court

Judge in 2021 and has served in Nairobi.

 

Previous Experience

• Senior Legal Officer, National Environment Management

Authority (NEMA).

• Practised Law at Omondi, Waweru and Co. Advocates,

Mombasa.

 

Other responsibilities

• Served as a member of the Environmental and Natural Resources Committee, Constitutional Reform Committee, Human Rights/Public Interest and Legal Aid Committees of the Law Society of Kenya.
