Hon. Mr. Justice Yano Charles Kimutai

Hon. Mr. Justice Charles Kimutai Yano was born in Elgeyo Marakwet County.

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1992 He has over 30 years experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Court Judge in 2016 and has served in Mombasa, Meru and Chuka.

 

Previous Experience

Has 24 years experience in legal practice in core areas of land law and environmental law in the following law firms: J. M. Wafula & co. Advocates; Kiangoi & Co. Advocates; Tum & Co. Advocates and C. K. Yano & Co. Advocates.
