Hon. Justice Johnson Okoth Okello

Justice Johnson Okoth Okello is an accomplished legal practitioner with over 28 years of service in the legal profession, having been admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1998. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Arts degree from the University of London.

Until his nomination, Mr. Okello served as the Director of Legal Services at the Parliamentary Service Commission. Prior to this, he served as Principal State Counsel and Senior State Counsel at the Kenya Law Reform Commission, and earlier as a State Counsel in the Office of the Attorney General. He brings to judicial office deep expertise in legislative drafting, public law, law reform, and institutional governance, marked by professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to constitutionalism and the rule of law.
