Court Annexed Mediation 2

Court Annexed Mediation (CAM) was introduced by the Judiciary in an effort to alleviate case backlog and in line with Article 159 (2) (c) of the Constitution which mandates the Judiciary to promote alternative forms of dispute resolution including reconciliation, mediation, arbitration and traditional dispute resolution mechanisms. The Judiciary has been implementing mediation as an initiative to promote Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) since 2016. CRJ meets with Registrars

Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Winfridah Mokaya held a consultative meeting with the Registrars of the Superior Courts, Magistrates Court, Tribunals and Automation on a wide range of issues. The CRJ highlighted the key role Registrars play in management of courts under the leadership of the Chief Justice, President Court of Appeal, the respective Principal Judges and the Chief Registrar. CAMAT officials Sworn in

Communications and Multimedia Appeals Tribunal members sworn in Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Paul Ndemo today presided over the swearing in ceremony of the Chairperson and six Members of the Communications and Multimedia Appeals Tribunal.
