Supreme Court Judge Isaac Lenaola speaks at the Africa Law Tech Festival 2025

Supreme Court Judge and Chair of Integrated Court Management Systems Committee (ICMS) Justice Isaac Lenaola delivered the keynote address on behalf of Chief Justice Martha Koome at the Africa Law Tech Festival 2025 in Nairobi.

“We are living in a time where courts are not only temples of justice, but also nodes in a digital ecosystem. The Judiciary cannot stand outside the currents of digital transformation,” he stated.

Justice Lenaola was joined by Justices Aleem Visram, Caroline Kendagor, among others. His keynote, titled “Disruptions and Adjustments: The Changing Landscape for the Judiciary in Kenya,” explored key themes including:

1. Disruptions of Tech in the Judiciary.

2. How is technology affecting court users?

3. Role of the Judiciary in adopting technology

4. Looking Ahead: Access to justice in the face of technology
