27 vehicles dispatched to enhance service across the country

Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Hon Winfridah Mokaya today flagged off 27 vehicles to enhance service across the country.

“This is the phase two of our fleet upgrade for the 2025/2026 financial year. In September of last year, we flagged off 20 units. Today, we add another 27 vehicles to our fleet. This brings our total to 47 units in a single financial year—a clear demonstration that we are committed to enhance operational efficiency” she stated.

The Hon. CRJ Mokaya called upon the drivers to recognize that the vehicles are public assets placed in their hands. As such, they must ensure that all transport guidelines are observed and that they take personal responsibility at all times.

“We have paid close attention to regional balance. These vehicles are not just staying in urban centers; we are reaching the periphery. Today’s rollout specifically targets far-flung stations where distance has always been a barrier” she said.

“I am talking about stations like Habaswein, Marimanti, Kwale, and Oyugis. With these vehicles, we are sending a clear message that distance will no longer hinder judicial mobility. Justice must reach every citizen, no matter how far. While we celebrate this milestone, we are aware of the work that remains. We acknowledge many more stations require vehicles, and we are committed to covering them in future phases.” Hon CRJ Mokaya
