Court to fast-track cases

The Judiciary is committed to fast-tracking cases in order to deliver services expeditiously. Machakos Law Courts Chief Magistrate Hon. Alfred Kibiru told inmates at the Machakos G.K prison that the court is streamlining its systems to ensure that the cases are handled in a faster and just way. Hon. Staff and CUC members equipped on customer care skills

Kapenguria law court staff and the Court Users Committee (CUC) benefited from the public relation management training conducted by the Judiciary’s Human Resource Directorate, Regional Office.  The training was meant to improve customer relations and in turn enhance service delivery by staff.  The resident Judge Ruth Sitati who organised the training explained the mandate of the National Council on the Administration of Justice (NCAJ) which CUCs derive their roles.  The training was conducted by Mr Hesbon Limisi, the Regional Assistant Director of Human Resource.  Participants were equipped on how to manage relations with internal and external customers.  He said it is the responsibility of employees...

Garissa bids farewell to Justice Dulu

Garissa law court held a farewell party for outgoing presiding judge George Dulu who has been transferred to Kericho law courts. Justice Dulu was deployed to Garissa law courts in October 2014.  Under his leadership, the court witnessed marked improvement in court operations.  “Justice Dulu has shown us how to think critically, plan precisely and execute our roles effectively,” Senior Clerical Officer Stephen Theri said.  Justice Dulu who was the presiding judge at Garissa High Court was transferred to Kericho in the recent transfer of High Court Judges.
