Director of the Kenya Judiciary Academy (KJA) Justice Dr Smokin Wanjala and the Judiciary Elections Committee (JCE) chairman, Supreme Court judge Mohammed Ibrahim during the official opening of a three-day symposium for training of Court of Appeal judges on Election Disputes Resolution.nnThe JCE together with KJA have so far conducted training for all 70 High Court judges and 210 magistrates out of a target of 400.nnThe Judiciary has also trained 82 Legal Researchers of the High Court and 33 from the Court of Appeal and is targeting to train over 500 judicial staff on Election Disputes Resolution ahead of the August 9, 2022 elections.nnOthers who spoke during the event are Court of Appeal president, Justice Daniel Musinga, Mr Lamin Lighe from IFES, Protas Saende, Chairman ICJ Kenya, Felix Owuor, Executive Director ELGIA and Markus Green, a board member of Attorney General Alliance, AGA.nn nn nn
