Judiciary to set up permanent Court of Appeal in Nakuru
A new permanent Court of Appeal bench is set to be launched at Nakuru to handle appeals emanating from that region. Chief Justice Martha Koome revealed that the Nakuru Court of Appeal bench which will be the fifth after Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Nyeri will enable the court to meet enhanced demand for services.nnShe spoke during a joint induction exercise for newly appointed COA and ELC Judges in Nakuru.nnThe induction programme conducted by the Kenya Judiciary Academy (KJA) led by Director Justice Smokin Wanjala was also attended by the President of the Court of Appeal Justice Daniel Musinga among other judges. nn nn
