Kisumu courts and journalist address bottlenecks in covering courts

Judiciary conducted media engagement forum bringing together journalists, Judges, judicial officers and staff in Kisumu, to deliberate on issues impeding courts’ coverage and the way forward on enhancing publicity.

Those attending the meeting are Kisumu High Court Presiding Judge Fred Ochieng, Lady Justice Jacqueline Kamau, Kisumu Law Courts Head of Station and Chief Magistrate Peter Gesora, High Court Deputy Registrar Linah Akoth and other judicial officers and staff from Kisumu, Maseno, Winam and Nyando Law Courts and journalists from the area. Also present to give insights into the media operations is NTV’s Managing Editor Emmanuel Juma.
