Hon Lady Justice Lucy Nyambura Gacheru holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Masters of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1996

 

She has over 26 years experience in the legal profession.

She was appointed as an Environment and Land Court

Judge in 2012 and has served in Nairobi, Thika and Murang’a.

 

Previous Experience

• Advocate in the Law Firm of Wanjama & Co. Advocates.
• Appointed District Magistrate II (Professional) in 1997 and rose through the ranks to become a Senior Principal Magistrate in charge of Anti-Corruption Court at Milimani Law Courts.
