Hon. Mr. Justice Elijah Ogoti Obaga

Hon. Mr. Justice Elijah Ogoti Obaga was born in Kisii County.

 

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications: –

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1996
• Certified Public Secretary

 

He has over 26 years experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Judge in 2012 and has served in Eldoret, Nairobi and Kitale

 

Previous Experience

• Appointed as Senior Resident Magistrate in 2004.
• Served in Nairobi, Busia, Kakamega and Kerugoya rising through the ranks to Senior Principal Magistrate.
• Worked at Robson Harris & Co. Advocates specializing in commercial litigation and criminal cases
• Employed at Bowry, Maraga & Co. Advocates
