Hon. Mr. Justice Kamau Joseph Mugo

Hon. Mr. Justice Mugo Kamau Cherere was born in Nakuru County.

 

He holds the following academic and professional qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws from University of Nairobi
• Post Graduate Diploma in Law from Kenya School of Law
• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 1990

He has over 32 years experience in the legal profession.

He was appointed as an Environment and Land Court Judge in 2021 and has served in Nyamira.

 

Previous Experience

• Litigation counsel at Kamere & Company Advocates.
• Worked in the firm of Mugo Kamau & Co. Advocates.

Other Responsibilities

• Board member of several schools.

• Member of the Task Force on Affordable Secondary Education
