Judiciary did not release ‘poisonous’ rice into the market

 nnPRESS RELEASE. February 4, 2019. nnThe Judiciary’s attention has been drawn to reports in sections of the media that the Judiciary ordered release of poisonous rice into the market. CJ inspects service delivery at Nyeri

Chief Justice David Maraga toured Nyeri Law Courts in October 2018 to inspect delivery of service and renovation of court rooms at the station. During the visit, the CJ held meetings with members of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and media, as well as judicial officers and staff. Some of the issues that were discussed with staff include staff promotions, re-designations, remuneration as well as participation in Judiciary’s decision-making process, among others.
