Chuka Law Courts

Tharaka Nithi residents will no longer have to travel over 60km to have their High Court matters adjudicated on following the opening of Chuka Law Court Building. The new building houses two High Court Rooms, three Magistrates Court Rooms and an Environment and Lands Court room amongst other facilities. With improved facilities, there will be efficiency in dispensation of justice leading to the reduction of backlog of cases. The Hon. The National Committee on Criminal Justice Reforms (NCCJR) holds discussions with KDF The National Committee on Criminal Justice Reforms (NCCJR) today held deliberations with the Kenya Defence Forces on sector reforms in the criminal justice system. Judiciary librarians participate in heart run

The Judiciary Library Services team joined other participants in the Mater Heart Run 2019, an event organised by the Mater Misericordiae Hospital. This is an annual event that seeks to raise funds for children from disadvantaged communities that suffer from heart ailments. The Judiciary is committed to fast-tracking cases in order to deliver services expeditiously. Machakos Law Courts Chief Magistrate Hon.
