JSC picks SRC representative and Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary

MONDAY, July 23, 2018 The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has completed interviews and selected Ms Jacqueline Manani to represent JSC in the Salaries and Remuneration Commission for a fixed term of six years. This is a full time position. Further, the Commission after competitive recruitment, has picked Mr Paul Ndemo for the position of Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary. CRJ Amadi swears in new KRA board members

Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi on Monday June 4, swore in members of Kenya Revenue Authority  Board of Directors at the Supreme Court Building. Those who were sworn in include: Chairperson Amb. Francis Muthaura and members Mr. Charles Makori Omanga, Mr Leonard Ithau and Ms Susan Mudhune. The CRJ promised that the Judiciary would support the Board towards execution of its  mandate saying that Kenyans are demanding more accountability from public officers each day. CJ launches Commercial Justice Sector Reform project

  Chief Justice David Maraga presided over the launch of the Commercial Justice Sector Reforms Project. The Commercial Justice Sector Reforms Project is one of the many initiatives being undertaken by the Judiciary in a bid to enhance service delivery. The project aligns to Chief Justice David Maraga’s new strategic blueprint titled Sustaining Judiciary Transformation: A Service Delivery Agenda (2017-2021), which was launched in January 2017 and builds upon the role of the Judiciary in enhancing service delivery as established under the JTF. Judge Achode installed as new Principal Judge of High Court

Chief Justice David Maraga presided over the installation ceremony of Lady Justice Lydia Achode as the Principal Judge of the High Court of Kenya. Lady Justice Lydia Achode was elected by other High Court judges in an election exercise conducted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on 23 April, 2018. Judiciary to construct more courts. FRIDAY, May 4, 2018 The Judiciary has asked Parliament to allocate it more funds for construction of more courts to bring justice closer to the people. Speaking during the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC) Open Day at Milimani Commercial Court, Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu said the Judiciary plans to build more courts in the country in order to bring justice closer to the people.
