Judiciary committed to decongesting remands The Judiciary is committed to implementing programmes and polices that are aimed at fast-tracking cases and decongesting remand facilities. Homa Bay Senior Principal Magistrate Thomas Obutu told Homa Bay GK Prison inmates that the court is keen to fast-track cases that have been pending before the court. He added that it is also keen on reviewing sentences for prisoners who have improved under rehabilitation program as well as for those serving short terms.
