Chairperson of the Land Acquisition Tribunal sworn in

Dr. Nabil Orina, the newly appointed Chairperson of the Land Acquisition Tribunal, takes Oath of Office before the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary, Hon Anne Amadi, at the Supreme Court Building, Nairobi. Also sworn-in was Mr George Supeyo, a member of the Tribunal. The Land Acquisition Tribunal was established in 2019 through an amendment to the Land Act to hear and determine appeals from decisions of the National Land Commission in matters relating to the compulsory acquisition of land.   [gallery size="large" ids="5070,5071,5072,5073"]...
