TUESDAY, April 24, 2018 Judge Achode elected the new Principal Judge of the High Court Lady Justice Lydia Achode is the new Principal Judge of the High Court of Kenya. Judge Achode was elected by other judges in election exercise conducted by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), in Mombasa. The election of the Principal Judge of the High Court is in accordance with Article 165(2) of the Constitution. Justice Achode is the second Principal Judge elected under the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
