CJ Inspects Construction of Siaya High CourtnnAs part of ongoing efforts to spruce up Judiciary housing across the country, Chief Justice David Maraga today inspected the construction of the Siaya High Court where he saw what he described as “the best holding cells for suspects I have ever seen”.nnThe cells, which provide functional sitting space for the suspects and a comfortable ablution unit, are part of the ultra-modern facilities in the KSh340 million unit. C.J launches third high court building in two weeks. nnAs part of an aggressive expansion of court facilities across the country, Chief Justice David Maraga this morning laid the foundation stone for an ultra-modern High Court building in Kakamega.  The Ksh388 Million building will hold eight courtrooms and nine chambers, among other facilities.nnThis is the third High Court building launched by the Chief Justice this year. The Judiciary’s plan of establishing a High Court station in every county edged a step closer today when Chief Justice David Maraga laid the foundation stone for a Sh390 million building in Kwale.
