Help for those in conflict with law

 nnNyeri law courts launched an initiative that will see suspected offenders educated on court processes.nnThe move is meant to ease the court process for suspects who are arrested and locked in cells especially over the weekend and are arraigned in court on Monday.nnThe initiative dubbed ‘Friends of People in Conflict with the Law’ intends to help men, women and children in conflict with the law go through the court process. New court building opened at Vihiga Law Courts

The Vihiga Law Courts building was opened by the Chief Justice Hon. David Maraga bringing access to court closer to the people. The new court building will contribute towards improving service delivery, administration of justice and reduction of case backlog. Kajiado High Court Presiding Judge Enock Mwita, Deputy Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Paul Ndemo  and Hon. Margaret Kasera visit a  construction site of an upcoming new court building at Kajiado Law Courts to assess progress.
